ABOUT INDIA ENERGY AWARDS 2025
The India Energy Awards is a prestigious annual awards event which acknowledges the outstanding contributors in the entire spectrum of the energy sector. It recognizes and honors outstanding leaders and organizations who are making significant contributions across the entire value chain of the energy industry.
These awards aim to showcase the very best of the energy industry, Individuals and organizations who are making a difference in the energy sector, its allied industries and communities. The awards are open to individuals and organizations across the energy spectrum and aim to celebrate the success of the ones who are shaping the energy landscape for generations to come.
AWARDS CATEGORIES
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (UPSTREAM)
Recognizes an individual with more than 35 years of impactful service in India’s upstream energy sector (exploration and production). The recipient may be a distinguished government official, business leader, academic, investor, or community advocate whose work has significantly shaped the sector and earned
wide respect from stakeholders.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (MIDSTREAM & DOWNSTREAM)
Honors a professional with over 35 years of outstanding contributions to India’s midstream and downstream energy sector (processing, storage, transportation, and distribution). The individual should be widely acknowledged by industry peers for leadership, innovation, and impact across the energy value chain.
WOMEN IN ENERGY LEADERSHIP AWARD
Recognizes an accomplished woman professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including at least one year in a managerial or leadership role. The recipient should exemplify leadership, mentorship, innovation, and have made a substantial impact on gender equity and organizational growth in the energy sector
INNOVATION IN CLEAN ENERGY (COMPANY)
To Recognize an organization who has made significant contributions to the growth and competitiveness of the Indian clean energy sector. This award is open to organization developing and deploying innovative and clean energy solutions, such as Hydrogen, wind energy, biofuels, that contribute to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
ENERGY STARTUP OF THE YEAR
Awarded to a startup (less than 7 years old) that has shown innovation and scalability in clean energy, energy access, smart grids, EV infrastructure, or digital energy platforms, and has achieved measurable impact.
YOUNG ENERGY PROFESSIONAL
This award will be presented to individuals aged 40 years and younger who have made exceptional accomplishments in energy. This could be the development of an innovative project, a socially impactful intervention, or an initiative that has a significant impact on the energy space.
